Working with UNC-Chapel Hill
Engaging with UNC-Chapel Hill
Working with universities can be mutually-beneficial. For example, because universities employ some of the most innovative minds in the country, you can get you a front row seat to the next big idea or technology that may develop into solutions to existing problems or even potentially prevent future ones. Gaining access to a network of talented and highly skilled faculty, lead scientists, and students as well as state-of-the-art technology, facilities and equipment could help broaden your company’s capabilities. In need of executive development? Universities often have dedicated training programs designed specifically for executives. Partnerships with universities can also allow access to government funding opportunities [e.g., Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR), Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR), Industry-University Cooperative Research Centers (IUCRC) grants].
“Carolina’s more than $1.1 billion research enterprise has made us one of the most innovative universities in the world, and our success is because of Carolina’s unique culture of collaboration. Through convergent science, Carolina is prepared to lead our nation in solving the grand challenges of our time.”
– Kevin Guskiewicz, Chancellor
